AI Yesterday is a collective of artists, researchers, and technologists focused on developing narratives about AI through creative media. It is a collaboration between practitioners and academics in the UK, US, EU, India, Egypt, and Australia. Funded by Minderoo and recognized by Mozilla, it is global sandbox for AI research and practice to scale through the development of emerging, innovative approaches to AI
Outputs
Our outputs for AI Yesterday have included a zine: Issue 01, Positions and Issue 02, Fails.
We have conducted workshops in Venice as part of the Creativity and Cognition Conference (2021), Modern Art Oxford (2021), Cambridge Mellon Sawyer History of AI Seminar (2020).
